Brilliant. I've been holding off buying these for a long time in the hope of remasters!

I'm glad that there could be a rerelease soon. I'm not sure how much my tape can take anymore.

BBC Radio 2, May 26. Bob Harris interviews Olivia Harrison, Jim Keltner, Jeff Lynne, Barbara Orbison and Tom Petty about the rereleases. There's also archive material with George Harrison and Roy Orbison.

Thanks for the links, Bobber. Can you help me find the Olivia interview? There are a hundred links on this page. Thanks.

I have already pre-ordered my Traveling Wilburys set from Amazon, Deluxe Edition. I want it all!

I am in despair! I pre-ordered the Traveling Wilburys Deluxe Edition on Amazon.com -- AND IT'S OUT OF STOCK!! I can't get it! Oh, the tears, the anguish. The irritation I feel at the producers not having enough copies to satisfy a hungry public. PRESS MORE COPIES, QUICKLY!!!  >:( :'(

Rub it in, DaveRam! *bears wounds for further salting*  ;)

Seriously, it's great to hear such a good report. It just steepens my anticipation. Did you get the Deluxe version as well? I'd like to hear your opinion about it. It will make up for me not having one of my own yet.

Thanks for your good wishes, Andy Smith. You'll probably beat me to the punch also, but I'll keep my spirits up as long as everyone tells me how wonderful this rerelease is.  ;D Cheers!

Sorry Hairhead did'nt mean to rub salt into your wounds.
But i went in to Woolworth's on my local high street and they had the Deluxe version so i bought it.
It's put together lovely , with an informative booklet and the remastering is very good.
I love Volume 1 it just sounds so fresh, and it's great to have it on cd at long last .
and the DVD is just brilliant ,you can see they had such a ball making the first album .
