I really liked The Move. Did they have any decent albums? I think of them more as a singles band.

Got this collection...

4 CDs, 63 tracks. Pretty comprehensive.

No you're not, Kathleen.  ;)

Thanks, Barry; I didn't mean to sound like I was fishing for a compliment.   ;)

You don't need to defer, the definition of psychedelia is something ambiguous, actually. Tommy certainly has some psychedelic elements as you mentioned, but I think the band was more prone to hard rock at that time. The Who Sell Out seems to me a more proper choice because of tracks like "Armenia City In The Sky", "I Can See For Miles" and "Relax"; and it was released in late-1967, when psychedelia was at the order of the day. But the difference between both albums is not something so obvious.

Those are excellent points, especially in regard to "Relax" and "Armenia City in the Sky." I haven't listened to Sell Out in awhile, but I pulled those two tracks up last night and they do indeed sound very psychedelic.

He looks like Lord Lucan's love child with one of the Manson family.

Well, if you like them but aren't into collecting every single record they put out, like me, it's a good set. Lots of familiar hits and a number of rarities included.
