Title: Beatles' isolated vocals
Post by: Normandie on April 13, 2022, 07:29:12 PM
I'm quite certain this will be met with yawns of boredome by the musicians here, but I decided to post it anyway. It's a YouTube channel with isolated vocals of Beatles songs. Given that I have no working knowledge of how to record and produce music, I found it interesting. Not earth shattering, but interesting to me nonetheless.

This link leads to AHDN, but there is a whole list of songs available.

I'm going to have to find a way to make my older daughter listen to "It's All Too Much," a song she hates for some reason, much to my dismay. The isolated vocals are going to annoy the heck out of her. So of course I'll have to find a way to arrange this. ;D

The isolated vocals I’ve heard of Beatle songs sound amazing. Their vocals were always a strong point of their sound but hearing them on their own really shows why.  The artistry in John and Paul’s vocals really shines through.  Especially Paul’s harmonies.

This is a great companion video for A Hard Day's Night isolated vocals...

He has a full series of "how to sing" Beatles songs ranging from simple to complex harmony.

I couldn't agree more.  :)

Interesting! He has a great voice. My own, not so much.

Now you all know how much work it took to make this song sound right.

The first isolation I heard was Something.

George never had the strongest voice but he sounds terrific on here. Really delivers it. And when Paul's harmonies come in its just amazing.

Beautiful.

I love the isolated vocals to Because, too. This comment jumped out at me: "These harmonies are so perfect it makes me weep for the beauty man can create."

I was right, in a sense; I'm not sure if anyone here yawned, ha ha, but there are dozens of isolated parts of Beatles songs on YouTube. I'm actually happy of my ignorance; now I have a lot of new listening and learning to do.  :)

I knew of them but hadn’t listened to them a lot. Sometimes it takes someone reminding me  :)
