Here's a thread that I saw on another forum and I'd thought I'd post it here too. If George was still here today and if you got to meet him in person, what would you say to George? Of course if I ever would have gotten to meet him, I'd be really shy around him :B but, here's what I would say to him:
Thankyou so much for your music. Your words speak the truth and your music comes from your heart. You have done so much for others and I have alot of respect for you. You mean so much to me and I'll always listen to your music. Again thankyou so much for everything. I love you George.

Nice to meet you ...

Well put, becky. I'm sure he would have appreciated your sentiments.

I'd get down on one knee and get out the ring...
-
i'd offer my soul and ask him to give me love and give me peace, because he is my sweet lord.
id make more puns but he would kill me after the my sweet lord

I would say: hello, hello, I don't know why you said good-bye and I say hello!
Why this can be?

Thankyou, Hello GoodBye. :) I probably would have said alot more to George than that...but I then again if I would have been given the chance to meet him, I'd be really shy and my mind would go blank! :o :B :B :B :B
-
DON'T CRY BECKY. HE IS PROBLABLY NOW WITH YOU THERE! I KNOW!!!

1). Hey George, glad you're still alive and
2). Don't EVER have ANYTHING to do with Jeff Lynne.
-
Thanks Cisco. I can feel George in my heart all the time. People have often told me that George might be my guardian angel. :o :D ;) Somehow I believe that he is. ;D
-
I think he's everybody's guardian angel!
They all are.
Why else would God send them to this sad, hopeless world.
They were here for peace, love, and music.
To help us see in the darkness.
To let us know there was always hope, love, a better way to see everything around you.
They inspired the world through their music.
And it has forever changed the minds of us all.....
And we all give major thanks to them.
The Beatles.
Greatest band to ever walk the earth.

Hey George hows it going!
No seriously, I would say something along the lines of, thanks for bring joy to my life through your music. I would tell him how much I admire him not only as a musician, but as a person.
-
I'd stand there looking like this....

I'd probably be all friendly, trying not to break out into song. He probably would want friendly talk instead of hearing he's inspirational and a great musician. I'm pretty sure he knows that. And anyways, I'm getting a new phone, and I need people on my speed dials.

Nice Haircut :)

Walk up to George, look him straight in the eye. Totally serious.
Take a moment to breathe, make sure he's paying close attention.
After awhile I finally strike up the courage and spit it out...
"You don't have any idea what nasty things I do to you in my head!" :)
hahahhhhahahhahahhahhahha
He gives me a strange look I'm sure. Maybe laugh even? Thats a story we'll never know.
And then when he's looking at me all freaked out...
I'd be like...
*cough cough* "I was just kidding George, you don't have to call Brian over here."
-
I'd just say, "Thank you", and he'd KNOW.
-
If I had the chance to really meet George like sit down and talk, I wouldn't say anything, I'd listen.
Which might sound funny because he was known as "The Quite Beatle", but he does seem like he had so much wisdom and was enlightened. And I want to learn more about all the Indian philosophy. And it seemed like George liked to talk about that very much, so I wouldn't say a word, I'd listen to him.
-
i don't know what i would say, something would pop into my head and i will have something to say. well if i ever meet him i hope i don't faint cause that would ruin it. the first thing i would probably say is " can i have your autograph? "
-
I think I'd just say something like "Hi George, thanks for all those songs" on the way by and not bother him. He was a private sort of guy. :)
-
I would come up to him and say:" So, it you! George..." And ask him to take me by the hand and hold it for a while. And the world would change at once for me...
-
Lock the back door, and quit smoking.

Yes! The best words, BlueMeanie! And we are so egotistical: give me an autograph... hold me by the hand...
-
Hi George, i really like your music thank you for inspiring me to do always what is best. We fans love you, thanks for everything big brother George!
-
"Hey baby...shall we shag now or shag later?"
K just kidding, I am in a silly mood today & just got done watching Austin Powers ;D
-
Hi, George. How are you in the present?
well, actually i like the Beatles since 2006.
but you're my favourite Beatle!
I like your Indian songs and some of your songs in the Beatles
like Something, Here Comes the Sun.. etc.
Some of the news said you were a shy Beatle. but i don't think so.
You're strong in my mind..
With Love, Rest in Peace.

I'd say-oh, my late Dad worked at the Finch Lane bus depot in Liverpool that your Dad drove his bus from and thinks he once saw you and your friends play a gig at the social club...
