We Need A Definitive Harrison Compilation
« on: September 10, 2008, 08:32:03 PM »

So far we've got "Best Of George Harrison" and "Best Of Dark Horse" but I think an album should be released with George's Songs from all periods of his career. (Something Like John's  "Lennon Legend" and Ringo's "Photograph")

I think the track listing should be like this:
Disc 1:
1. My Sweet Lord
2. What Is Life
3. If Not For You
4. All Things Must Pass
5. Bangla Desh
6. Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)
7. Living In The Material World
8. Dark Horse
9. Ding Dong, Ding Dong
10. You
11. Beautiful Girl
12. This Song
13. Crackerbox Palace
14. Blow Away
15. Here Comes The Moon

Disc 2:
16. Faster
17. Life Itself
18. All Those Years Ago
19. Gone Troppo
20. Cloud 9
21. That's What It Takes
22. This Is Love
23. When We Was Fab
24. Devil's Radio
25. Got My Mind Set On You
26. Cheer Down
27. Handle With Care
28. Any Road
29. P2 Vatican Blues (Last Saturday Night)
30. Brainwashed

Great list: I'd fiddle with it a bit (naturally), but something very much like this would make a solid solo George collection.  :)

The best would be 2 editions
1-CD version - with all the hits
2-CD version - disc 1 with the hits and disc 2 with rarities, live performances, B-sides, etc etc etc.

fercarv, you're tracklisting is not bad but only 30 tracks? That's like 2 hours of material. It could include 40 tracks!
