My name isn't Veronica, but I DO have a harmonica
« on: October 23, 2005, 08:45:09 PM »

Yeah, my dad just gave me one of his old harmonicas, and I've been trying to play it. It's easier than I thought, and I've been able to play several Dylan songs (though poorly). Anybody got any tips for playing?

Lenny Pane used to blow a bit of harp. I know you'll have to learn the triple tongue technique!!!!! lol......No pun intended.

You should ask for one of those neck holders for harp as an Xmas present. Then you can have fun strumming along too. ;) My only other suggestion is maybe a google search.

I wanted to have a go, so I picked up a Harmonica Book in this Music shop.
I opened it up at Lung Diagrams...and then decided to leave it for abit  :-/
