Long Tall Sally

Since the Beatles are one of the greatest cover bands of all time with only a few groups because their remakes sound like originals. Their blistering cover of the Little Richard classic Long Tall Sally with Paul on vocals is about as raucous as you can get during the early 60's.  It's too bad they didn't perform it on the rooftop back in 69 filming Let It Be since it would have been even more ballsy at the time.

Very good point Wayne. That is right up there in the vocal register...Would love to have seen that performed on the roof-top instead of one of the 'Get-Backs.'

I LOVE this song.  They really cook up a storm, especially with Ringo's triplet drumming at the very end.  I would even say it's BETTER than the original, along with ranks of Twist and Shout being superior to the original.

If you don't like the Beatles you're an idiot.
