Anyone been to the official www.beatles.com site recently? It has been completely overhauled and is looking pretty damn good!

Also features an interesting Flash video for Come together which was not used on the original one "1" site.

Some nice pics from the Paperback Writer/Rain promo shoot too!

I found out in a funny way. Last week, one of my students was finished with her work early so I said she could go on the computer to play a game. Well, the next thing I know, she's calling me over to look at something. It was that cool pic of The Beatles with that blanket. i couldn't even believe it. She had gone to Beatles.com! I guess she typed in Beatles and came up with that site. I thought that was so funny.(seeing as she's only 7 years old) Anyway, then she had to print out the pic a few times because about 3 other girls in class wanted it. I think I've officially brainwashed them.

I much prefer the new site to the old one (which I hated). I've always felt that beatles.com was only trying to advertise recent projects like the Yellow Submarine book and didn't give a damn about letting people know about the Beatles. It's not quite there yet, but it's making good progress.
