Ick!  Keith looks like he's been dead for about 50 years.  Jimmy looks pretty bad, but he doesn't look nearly as bad as Keith does.  Anyone have a recent picture of ol' Percy they can post?  He looks worse than Pagey does.

Okay, HE did NOT age well at all! And he's only in his 50's!

Who the hell is that??

Anyway...

Aging DOES suck.  And if we leave Keith Richards out of the equation, had you never known who Jimmy Page was when he was young and he just hit the scene, he wouldn't look THAT bad (that is not exactly a good picture of him).

It is distressing to see people age.  Especially me!!!
Pete Townsend looks pretty bad.

And Paul McCartney, too (sorry, but it's true).
Paul does not look that bad.  For the money he has he could certainly look a hell of a lot better tho.

I sorta did but I wasn't sure.

He looked familiar, but Gilmour was not the first person to come to mind.  WHY do all the kid rock stars I grew up with look like old men now??!! arg!!

(The story is interesting, thanks for posting that!

Kieth Richards is by far my favorite Rolling Stone member. I love the man, but my God is he awful looking. He looks decrepit and corpse-like and about 110. Its sad, actually. :(

Charlie Watts, poor man...he's sick now. But he wasn't looking very good for awhile. I hope he gets better.

Mick I have always found to be just nasty. I think he's fugly and I have never liked his looks, though his voice (in younger years) was ALWAYS sexy.

 Bob Dylan...no further comments.

Tom Petty was mentioned. He has ALWAYS, ALWAYS looked so skeletal and...weird. I agree he looks like a zombie. But he has always looked like that, and I can't really see a notable decline in his aging as he pretty much looks the way he's always looked- that is, f*cking scary. And skeletal. I did see him once recently with some scruffy beard. I thought it was the best he ever looked in his life. Then he shaved it off and he went back to looking like he always looked. But I still love his music!

One of the dudes form the Monkees (a band I never followed, but the guy's pic was in some recent magazine) is REALLY scary looking now. I can't remember his name, but he looked pretty bad.

Is it just me or did John Entwistle form the Who actually appear to be, in his last years, the most well-preserved member? I saw him on that concert for America or whatever it was called and thought he looked wonderful. Then he died like a month later or something. So weird. But hey, being almost 60 and going overboard on cocaine when you have heart probs can do that to people. :(

this is the funniest thread on this site!    keith, wow!    aw man!   i've heard of bad hair days, but really....bad human day.   aliens would hi-tail it home if that was the first earthling they stumbled over.     i mean, keith looks like i did after the 1980 stones festival seating concert. trampled underfoot!    i bet he gets poked with a stick a lot!.......anyway, i have to go somewhere where i can laugh out loud now....see ya.

I don't know if he's really aging well, but I still love the way he looks.

He actually looks 10 times better now then when he was young!

And he looks almost the same as he ever did!

He's naturally curly. He straightened it in the 60's because mod's weren't cool if they had curly hair. Thank god he's come to his senses again though. The afro did nothing for him!

Wait a minute...did I actually answer your question? I don't think so. Anyway, no, he never wore a wig. That frizzy mop was all natural.

Heh! I think Robert Plant wanted to be him. Actually, I think all of Zeppelin wanted to be the Who! Lots of similarities. But that's just me. And I really have no idea what I'm talking about. ;D

i dont think so.  Look at their pesonalities.  he Who were funny and zany kinda like the Beatles.  Zep was aloof and acted sorta godly.  Just check out The Kids are Alright vs The SOng Remains the Same for what i mean.

Do you mean the DVD's? I haven't seen the Song Remains the Same since I was, well, your age! Isn't it just a concert? Do they show them in interviews and stuff? That would be interesting. Anyway, I just meant the overall appearance of the bands. The powerhouse singer with the long curly hair and open shirt, the wildman drummer, the mellow base player and the awesome guitarists. I know Page is put up higher then Townshend, but I really think Pete was a great guitar player and song writer. Who wrote the songs for Zeppelin? Page and Plant? I don't remember.

yeah page and plant generally.  I dont think Zep really copied them because while they were getting their influences The Who werent really in full stride.  Perhaps bonham was influenced a little bit but that might be it.  Dont diss Pete he does the cool windmill thing, even if he really isnt on the same level as Pete.  Both bands rock tho im diggin the Who more right now.

Yeah, I definatly don't think they copied them. Zeppelin is WAY heavier. I just think it's funny how they look a bit similiar.

Hey, that's not Roger! I think Keith's confused! ;D
