I do not understand why people on here like Ram, it is sh*t. Band On The Run is the best.

I shall give Ram another listen but if it is still the same cocky bull that it was on it's last 20 odd outings then I shall never play it again.

Well, we people on here probably like it because,,,,well, its freaking good.

I'm guessing your a 'McCartney 2' lover arent you?

Ouch.  Tough to pick.  I love:

Ram
Band On The Run
Venus And Mars
WOA
Flowers In The Dirt
Off The Ground
and probably my favorite is 'Back to the Egg'
-I'm glad I have Macca II, but it doesn't get played much.

I personally don't like Off The Ground, but otherwise good choices. A good place for someone to start their collection.

I just heard 'Hope Of Deliverance' for the first time in years, and enjoyed it. Maybe I should give 'Off The Ground' another try?

I haven't come even close to hearing every album, but I like McCartney, Flaming Pie, and Band On The Run. And MAF. I keep hearing people say that Ram is great, and my dad said I would like it. So, I think it's the next thing I'll be buying.  ;D

RAM is freakingly amazing. Yesterday I played the album 2 times, and I sang it entirely. It's a fantastic record, to me the best by a solo Beatle. There's no low point in the album. It has that charm because he's really homemade, you can listen Paul breathing close to the mic, not like on Flowers In The Dirt or even Red Rose Speedway where his voice is so equalized. No, in Ram you listen all so natural, it's like Paul singing and playing in his farm, and you listen all kinds of noises, especially in Ram On. I love when somebody (probably him?) says 'Take 1', and he says 'OK!".  ;)

It does have a very 'at home' feel to it, for an album that was recorded in a New York studio.

I think Ram blows Band on the run out of the water. There are more tracks on Ram and the songs are all great.

I don't particullay like 'too-perfect' albums which are like
Band on the Run or Chaos & Creation.
I love all the f**ile-ness of certern albums like Ram 0r MAF.
that's what i love about Macca, he gives us interesting 'ideas'
on songs. for instance on 'Back Seat of My Car' has all sorts
going on in there & it's beautiful. great vocal-play on Ram
as well (with Linda of course). :)

RAM ROCKS!! :)
