If you're talking about the soundtrack stuff (Don't Be Long, etc.) then I very much disagree. They were all totally weak except Fool On The Hill.

Hmm... well, I think the entire Magical Mytery tour album is wayyyyyyyyyyy underrated

I really dont see Magical Mystery Tour as an official Album.
I just see it as a kind of compilation of singles and 'extra's..a film soundtrack, yet different than Hard Days Night.
I always get the feeling The Beatles never really consciously created these songs, with the Album Magical Mystery Tour in mind. Rather, just collected them from previous recording nights etc and created a last minute Album.
Its a great collection, but not a proper Album.
In my eyes :)

Fixing A Hole

I Call Your Name
There's A Place
One After 909 (Just the look on their face when they are performing this "Quarrymen" song on the roof gives me chills. They are having a ball and the performance is cracking with energy)

I love One After 909 (Get Back sessions version)!
It has a Rag n Bone - Rustic Feel, a real belter, with some great Guitar work (intro etc) and bass.

Yeah, I have to agree with the people who said that TAP was underrated. I think it's just as deep as John's later stuff.

I agree! That is one of my most favorite albums!
I also forgot one (yes, I know it's six :( ):
You Know My Name (Look Up The Number). I can tell that a lot of people will naturally dislike this song because of its weirdness, but I love it! Great jazz improve, I think. Great piano work!

Any fives songs off of MMT! Can u believe this album didn't even make it on the top 500 albums by Rolling Stone! I may get cruxified for saying this, but I like it more than Sgt. Pepper...which just happened to be #1 on that same list.
first off, rollingstone is retarded.
secondly, I like MMT better than Sgt. Pepper's too.
thirdly, I think that MMT doesn't get it's due because of the fact that all of side two except baby you're a rich man (hello goodbye, Strawberry Fields, penny lane, all you need is love) were all released as singles prior to their inclusion on this album. that's why people have trouble considering it with albums like Revovler, Sgt. peppers, the white album, etc.
