It's a toughie I suppose. I mean I like hearing the groove of a record going around. I like the thought of The Beatles and their limitations breeding their innovations.
Whatever album you get accustomed to is normally THE definitve one it seems.
Sometimes, sonically or audio speaking, things that aren't perfectly isolated and panned, de-hissed etc. add to the vibe of the track. All cleaned up can sometimes give the songs a feeling of sterility, I feel.
In a nutshell, it must be great hearing digitally enhanced masters through a great system. I can't argue with that but I also feel there is a case for hearing The Beatles from the perspective of how THEY released their songs at the time. As nature intended. lol
