How's it going Hombre_de_ningun_lugar? WOW, this is an interesting list, a very good one too! I love all of these bands mentioned! As usual, THE BEATLES always come out on top of the list. Its really amazing how the bands from the 1960's are very popular among today's youth! I LOVE IT! For me personally, I would have added LED ZEPPELIN, PINK FLOYD, FLEETWOOD MAC, DEEP PURPLE, SANTANA, THE GRATEFUL DEAD and BLACK SABBATH somewhere on the list. What do you think Hombre_de_ningun_lugar? Take care.

Hi again BeatlesForever, hope you're very well. I just included my very favourite bands on the list, but if you want to know, other bands/artists that I like are the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the Band, Traffic, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Spirit, the Association, CSNY, among others.

Hi again Hombre_de_ningun_lugar! I forgot about THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE! I should be ashamed of myself! I even forgot about THE BAND, THE WHO, JANIS JOPLIN, TRAFFIC, THE ASSOCIATION, SPIRIT, QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE, MOBY GRAPE, CSNY and BOB DYLAN just to name a few. Take care.

And I didn't mention the Small Faces, the Lovin' Spoonful, the Turtles, the Mamas & the Papas, the United States of America, the Grass Roots, Strawberry Alarm Clock, etc.; you can see that I have a deep love for 1960's music.

I love all of the bands that you mentioned! I see that you're really into the 1960's music. COOL! Bono from U2 said it best: Those bands that came out of the 1960's are Rock Royalty! Those bands ruined it for all of the bands that would follow including U2. There were some great bands that came out in the 1970's but they don't compare to the bands of the 1960's. Then again, it just my opinion. Take care.

I feel the same, 1960's bands made the base of rock music. I admit that some great bands came in the following decades, but I'm quite narrow minded about music and only listen to 1960's bands! :)

Yes, I love Traffic, I didn't put them in my original list of very favourite ones, but I mentioned them later. Mr. Fantasy is indeed a great record, and I also love their second eponymous album. I think Traffic is in my Top 20 bands list.

Ok, just for you my friend, I'll look for the popularity of Pink Floyd and Zep.
Pink Floyd (15,415,746)
Led Zeppelin (959,687)
If I would add both bands in my list, Pink Floyd would be #2 and Zep would be #11.

Yes, but you know, we are talking about classic rock bands. I guess that most young people would prefer other newer music, so other bands may be more popular at Facebook than the artists I'm listing. Take care.

In my opinion, Classic Rock bands from the 1960's has enormous staying power. The popularity of Classic Rock bands such as THE BEATLES, THE STONES, LED ZEPPELIN, FLEETWOOD MAC, PINK FLOYD, THE WHO, CREAM, JIMI HENDRIX, THE KINKS, BLACK SABBATH and DEEP PURPLE, just to name a few, are limitless! These bands will forever be Rock Royalty and will never be forgotten. Take care.

I agree that the popularity of such bands will go on forever, but now some newer bands may be more popular among young people. Anyway, those new bands will be forgotten in some years, while classic rock bands will still be popular.
