Well, didn't you know that Phil Spector produced 'I Love Ringo' by Bonnie Jo Mason, who turned out to be Cher?

I remember hearing it as a kid, when Lorne Greene was famous for being Pa Cartwright in Bonanza. It's apparently about the outlaw Johnny Ringo.

He got the nickname 'Ringo' when he joined Rory Storm, because of all the rings he wore, and the name Starr so that his solo's could be called 'Starr Time'.

when did ringo add his ear rings?
i'm guessing in the early 80's or late 70's.
