How's it going BEATLES fanatics? I'm enjoying half this week as well as all of next week off, it feels great to relax. I don't know if there's ever been a BLACK SABBATH thread here on the forum, if there has, I deeply apologize and would like to add this thread as an attachment.
BLACK SABBATH will forever go down in Rock n' Roll history and be remembered as being one of the original forefathers of Heavy Metal music. BLACK SABBATH was born in Aston, near Birmingham, England in 1969 and would comprise of original members John "Ozzy" Osbourne (Lead Singer), Anthony "Tony" Iommi (Rhythm/Lead Guitar), William "Bill" Ward (Drums) and Terence "Geezer" Butler (Bass). Originally called EARTH, the band decided to change their name to BLACK SABBATH due to a legal dispute with another local band that had the same name (EARTH).
There is going to be a BLACK SABBATH reunion in 2012. As of 11/11/11, BLACK SABBATH, including Ozzy, has officially announced that there will be a new album and tour in 2012! BLACK SABBATH, with OZZY OSBOURNE, has not released a studio album since the NEVER SAY DIE album in 1978. Rick Rubin produced their new album.
I would like to hear all of your opinions and views of this band, favorable or unfavorable, I am looking forward to hearing what all of you have to say. Here are some videos from the press conference on 11/11/11. Take care.

I rate Tony Iommi as one of THE best guitarists alive...even though Im not really a riff merchant.
Ozzy isnt/was never a great singer imo
they invented heavy rock imo

Wow...Ozzie's looking pretty good. I still can't understand much of what he says though! I have to admit that I don't know a lot about Black Sabbath but "Paranoid" is a very cool song.

How's it going music/BEATLES fanatics? I hope that everyone had a great weekend, I know I did! ha2ha I left work early today in order to take my girlfriend to the Dentist, believe me when I say that my girlfriend did not have a great time at the Dentist today!
Now to the news, there is news coming from the BLACK SABBATH camp that Guitarist TONY IOMMI has Cancer! Today, it was announced that Iommi has the early stages of Lymphoma, Iommi is very positive and working with doctors in hopes of a speedy recovery. Iommi still has plans of finishing BLACK SABBATH'S new album and going on tour in 2012. Here's one from BLACK SABBATH! Take care.
