Hmm I won't choose...these are amongst the last 2 or 3 songs we have recently nailed/learned. They are both great to play.

Fixing A Hole has this hallow sound on the vocal that just gives it a "pure" non mixed feel! definatley the best one!

It was kinda hard to choose, but I picked Getting Better - I like the guitars on it and how optimistic the lyrics are. :D

So much love for the Fixing A Hole lyrics as well...

Fixing a Hole for me.
I always just think it's very English in sense of surrealism - no idea why...?!
Just imagine Mccartney sitting at a piano with suitable tash and joint in mouth :)
Fantastic song.

FAH. Gotta love the harpsichord.

Though I LOVE the slightly out of tune guitars on GB.

Fixing A Hole. I love the use of harpsichord in Beatles' songs. Wouldn't be surprised if they were the first to do it. They took a classical/baroque instrument and made it sound just so cool! It's great in Not Guilty - who would have thought a harpsichord could figure so appropriately in such a sexy-sounding song as Not Guilty!?

Fixing A Hole

And it doesn't really matter if I'm wrong or right, where I belong I'm right, where I belong...

That bit just does it for me.

I like them both but especially "Fixing a Hole", I just love the lyrics and love the "sound" of the song, the sound of the vocal.
