It's progressed from curiosity -> mild intrest -> liking -> loving -> obsessing -> addiction since, eh, last summer. Not too much of a problem for me. =D If it were alcohol, though, i'd be dead [meaning, I died of death, which killed me. . . ]/in rehab. But it's The Beatles. <3

Today after we had our staff meeting, we all had to make little tiles for the new building. It was supposed to have a garden motife. I did this:

Only I made the flowers more colorful and added five portholes then put the letters P

I hate that he's being forgotten. Or actually that people don't learn about him. Well, my students have more knowledge then half the grown ups out there at this point! Hopefully they'll pass it on. Sometimes they come out with things that I never even told them! Like how many years it was since they broke up or which ones are still alive etc. Cute. One parent has bought her daughter a bunch of posters and had them framed. (Her room used to be all pink, now it's all Beatles!) Next she's going to get her a signed lithograph of their profiles which is over a hundred bucks. She also has an uncle that gave her a Yellow Submarine lunch box from the sixties!! Jeez, and I had to beg my mom for one lousy shirt back when I was six!

It's good to get them while they're young. And the good thing about being a Beatles fan as a child is that they buy you whatever you want, instead of having to save up for months with a crummy, FIVE-DOLLAR A WEEK ALLOWANCE nto pay for one freaking cd!!!!! *ahem*

My mom is nice about some things, though. She got me Cosmo(smut)politain cause Avril Lavigne was on the cover this month. Pretty generous considering it's like five bucks for just a magazine. Not to mention Cosmo's usual content.
