As far as my sources go:
"This album is Laine's third solo album and was released at the end of the time with Wings. Originally released in 1980 as Japanese Tears, shortly after Wings' tour of Japan was cancelled due to Paul's imprisonment. The original titletrack tells the story of an excited Japanese fan, followed by the ultimate disappointment.
Laine used old and new material for this album, with three own compositions with Wings, but also the never released Send Me The Heart, written together with Paul McCartney, I Would Only Smile and Weep For Love. Also rerecordings of Go Now, that Denny often sang at Wings' concerts and Say You Don't Mind, a song by Laine from 1967 and brought to the British top 20 in 1972 by Colin Blunstone.
Other highlights are two songs, recorded by the Denny Laine Band with Steve Holly on drums on Denny's wife Jo Jo on background vocals."
