peter jay and the jay walkers were a perdomonimately instrumental band....peter jay and the jaywalkers is what they are mostly called but b4 that it was just the jay walkers..
the beatles played on tour with them in 63...
i find very little about them online...a slight reference on bills site, some on a bob wooler interview....they were a tight band as you can hear..
i came across them but only started research because of the joe meek connection..
i stumbled on the beatles connection,i never look for that because i know it's always there
there were different front names but basically the same band in some cases a band members name was used but i think peter jay was the leader...pete miller aka big boy pete was in the band, terry reid joined later,,,wait heres a pasted line up..
Peter Miller - lead guitar
Tony Webster - rhythm guitar
Mac McIntyre - tenor saxophone/flute
Lloyd Baker - baritone saxophone/piano
Johnny Larks - bass guitar
Peter Jay - drums
