Regrets
« on: December 16, 2009, 11:27:18 PM »

Basically a topic where you take any regret from your life and put it here, if you want, of course. (They can be silly too)
My regret is alienating my friends many years ago to chat with other people. I don't remember why, but I could've hung out with them more because now, thanks to high school schedule differences, I rarely see them at all.  :(

I have a lot.

I regret not going out on the boat fishing with my dad because I knew that I wouldnt be able to smoke a joint. I'll never get that one back.

I regret being the only one at the hospital with my mom and having to make the decision on whether or not to let my dad go. I'll live with that for the rest of my life wondering if I chose right.

I regret drinking heavily afterwards to the point that I couldnt even make it into bed one night and my 2 year old son crawled down on the floor and layed beside me.

Yeah, i have a lot of regrets.

Okay, this is almost amounts to story...

I had a best friend named Kalias, she was my best friend since I was in third grade. And about a year ago her parents wanted to move. But right before she left, we got in this huge blow up. Most likely because we knew our friendship was ending. So on the day she left, the only thing I could manage to say was a small goodbye, no hug or anything. And I havent talked to her since. So my biggest regret was not telling her what she meant to me. And I haven't had a close friend outside of my family since.

"Regrets, I've had a few. Then again, too few to count."

But seriously? Revealing too much about myself while drunk, I think that would be my biggest regret. I also regret getting too wrapped up in someone who didn't return my feelings (and who I now realize wasn't that great anyway). I guess i couldn't help that one though.

Not too much really. I usually stand by my decision once I have made them. But then again, that could be self protection.

I regret I had a relationship with two girls at the same time, years ago. I picked the wrong one, it didn't last for two weeks.

I kinda regret not applying to the music program (even just to see if I could do it), and for not applying to the University of Alberta - but then again, if I did either of those I wouldn't have met my boyfriend and some really close friends so I guess it's a trade off!

I regret not ending things with my ex when I should have. I kept up the relationship because I knew how she felt about me but I didn't have the same feelings for her anymore and I fell for another girl. I ended things way too late when my ex found out about the other girl. Soo yeah I regret keeping up my relationship when I know I shouldn't have and because of me, I hurt two people pretty bad. I'm horrible  :(

Not exactly. The girls were not really friends. And that's an understatement.

There are a lot of things in my life that I wish I'd done differently. But then again, if I had to do it all over, I'd probably make the same mistakes again. So I guess my biggest regrets are that I have no self-discipline, no perseverance and no social skills.

Ditto. I had a string of high school crushes who turned out to be morons and a-holes. I apparently had very bad taste in guys as a teenager.  :-[ Live and learn!

I'm not sure just how friendly Betty and Veronica really are.

It's the Archie Syndrome for sure, Bobber.  You did not choose wisely and soon found out.  What attracted you to the wrong one?

I regret not climbing a huge ladder for my project Challenge class by saying I was sick when it was merely me not having a partner and not wanting to do anything.

Well, there's a boy in my French class, and since the beginning of the year, we've been partnered up for little skits or projects. At first, we were uncomfortable around eachother, and now, we get along pretty well!
