Songs Mixed for True Stereo
« on: April 23, 2011, 11:47:29 AM »

I want to show you a list of parts in some Beatles songs that would be mixed for true stereo instead of mono.

Penny Lane - Trumpet Ending
I Am The Walrus - Extra Stroke Break before "Yellow Matter Custard"
It's All Too Much - 8 Minutes Longer
You Know My Name (Look Up the Number) - 6:12

So what do you think?

Right. Let me show you something.

The deliberately different Anthology stereo mix shows the 5 parts clearly with the inclusion of part 2 (ska beat) that was cut entirely from mono, as well as a little bit of new material from part 3 (Slaggers). However almost half a minute of part 4 (high voices) heard in mono is missing in stereo, and the ending fades out just before the true ending heard in mono.
