This is like the popular card game. All you have to do is answer a "would you rather" question and then come up with a new one. It can be about anything and can be as goofy or normal as you want it to be, the more random the better. Here's the first one...
Would you rather eat a whole stick of butter or a whole container of mustard? :)
I'll "stick" with the butter. :)
Would you rather spend a whole day in an empty room with a person you hate (a friend or classmate, or somebody you know personally) or an hour in an old haunted house with a person you love (same, you must know it personally)?
I'll go with the someone I love in a haunted house. Everything's better with someone you love. :)
Would you rather go back in time and meet The Beatles, but be stuck there forever even when everybody else grows old, OR meet Paul or Ringo in the present time and continue your life?

Very easy question. First scenario sounds like a total nightmare, second one sounds very cool.
Not a very original question, but would you rather be deaf or blind?
I think I'd rather be blind. I don't think I could live without music, it's the only thing I know, I like and I'm pretty good at.
Mine isn't very original too : If you saw both your son and the man that has the cure for cancer drowning, which one would you rather save?

Sorry to interupt the game but I was just thinking about that very thing yesterday. I would not do very well without music so I agree with your answer. Now, someone else can answer the drowning question!
Christ almighty, that is a hard question! Obviously I'd attempt to save both, but if I could save only one, it gets difficult... if I could find the full details of the cancer cure in the guy's house or something, then I'd save my son but produce the cancer cure and put all the credit towards the guy who came up with it completely. However, since that's probably not going to happen... I think I'd have to act on decent global conscience and save the man who could cure cancer. I'd lose my son, but help to save the lives of probably millions.
/overanalysed ;D
Would you rather live with the loss of an arm or leg?
xxx
That's tough, but I think I'd rather live with the loss of a leg. I can't imagine never playing guitar again!
Would you rather know your death date or be completely oblivious?
As good as the idea of knowing for certain and making a plan might be, a) plans hardly ever go accordingly, at least not with me! And b) wouldn't that just turn life into a preconcieved bore? I'd rather NOT know, and leave the spontenaity and excitement there.
Would you rather have ice cream headache or foot cramp? Brutal, I know! :P

Egad! That makes it sound even more painful! Still, I would prefer that over a foot cramp. Those seem to last longer for me.
All of these questions have been kind of serious, difficult and painful. How about an easier one. Would you rather drink Coke or Pepsi?
I'd rather drink Coke.
Would you rather listen to only listen to one song for the rest of your life or not be able to listen to music at all?
I think I'd choose one song forever, if I could choose a song I really love. It's better than no music at all.
Would you rather be really good at electric Rock guitar or acoustic classical guitar?
xxx
Probably acoustic classical, I play mainly acoustic and do a lot of fingerstyle and stuff, so that'd be more like my kind of thing. Although, it would be great to be amazing at rocking out on electric. :)
Would you rather be at the Beatles' first performance on Ed Sullivan, or be at Shea Stadium?
That's a hard question, they both were very exciting and awesome but I would rather go to when they played at Shea Stadium.
Would you rather go to see a Paul or Ringo concert?
I'm afraid it'd be Paul for me, sorry Ringo! I just really got into Wings a while back and it's stuck with me. Paul wrote some classic songs during Wings and it made me appreciate him more as a person.
Would you rather send someone a handwritten letter or a typed one?
xxx
Well, call me old fashioned, but to me handwritten letters have a higher sentimental value to them. It's always more enticing to open the mailbox and see an envelope adressed to you- that is unless someone's trying to pry a ring off your finger. ha2ha
Would you rather go to the bottom of the ocean or the peak of Mt. Everest?
BUMP!!!!!
I'd rather go to the Peak of Mt Everest. I hate water!
Would you rather travel long distance by plane or by ship?
I'd rather travel long distance by ship for two reasons.1) I think it would be more fun and more of an experience if I got to see the world from the ocean. 2) I've never been on a plane and I'm so afraid to go on one because I think it's going to crash.
Would you rather live on Saturn or Jupiter?
I'm glad you picked these two planets and not the rude one .... ;)
I would go with Saturn. They both have the rings, dont they? Well Saturn reminds me of bright yellow and Jupiter reminds me of bright orange. I like yellow more. (I know that is a weird explanation!)

You have never been on a plane??? I'm the opposite - I have never been on a ship (only on small ones)
Would you rather be in a movie or a book?

Would you rather be in a movie or a book?
I'd rather be in a book because they are usually better than the movie version.
Would you rather be three feet taller or three feet shorter?
TALLER! I know three feet is a lot, but being nearly 22 years old and only barely scraping 5 foot tall is like having an iron lung... I wouldn't care but for the fact that I get flattened at gigs, and can hardly ever see anything, and as a musician, going to gigs is pretty frequent!
Would you rather do line-dancing or waltzing?

LOL That's another thing we have in common Shirli. I am height-impaired too. It's a liability for me at my job because one of the things I do at the library is put books away. I have to drag one of those little "kick steps" with me most of the time. I'm thinking of buying one for home too because with high ceilings come high kitchen cabinets and I can barely reach the second shelf. roll:)
I would rather waltz because I would have someone to guide me along.
Would you rather be able to teleport or turn invisible?
Turn invisible. Seems to be more handy these days... All the people I could spy on muhahaha!!!!
Would you rather have a small breakfast and big lunch or a big breakfast and small lunch? (yes, I'm hungry!)
Just stumbled across this old thread and thought I'd throw out a question that my kids and I have laughingly argued about for years: Would you rather eat a live mouse or a computer mouse?
We were sharply divided. I figure if nobody responds I'm no worse off, but if I get one person on my side I can triumphantly relay that information to my girls. ha2ha

How live does the mouse need to be? ???

Alive alive! As in, no roasting over an open fire. ;)
Hmm. Ok. Knowing there are computer mice made from things like bamboo. If I could break that up into small enough pieces, and use lots of tomato sauce I'd probably opt for that rather than a wriggling mass of fur, blood and bone.
After all, a guy once ate an entire small aeroplane, how much damage could a bit of computer mouse do.

I found a Beatles-themed "would you rather." I personally would choose the bottom (red) option:
Yes me too. Especially if it includes the rooftop.
A reunion of 80year old Beatles doesn't sound that appealing.
