Liverpool FACT to host UK premiere of Martin Scorsese’s new documentary about Beatle George Harrison

Liverpool  will host the UK premiere of Martin Scorsese’s new documentary about George Harrison. Picturehouse at FACT will screen George Harrison: Living In The Material World on Sunday October 2 before it goes on general release on October 4th.The Oscar-winning director traces the late Beatle’s life from his musical beginnings in Liverpool through his career as a musician, philanthropist and filmmaker.The documentary weaves together interviews with Harrison and his friends – including Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Eric Idle – with home movies, letters and photographs
