Again, there WAS no funeral. How could Paul be accused of not going to the funeral when there was none?

There was no funeral for John. John was shot on December 8, 1980, and was cremated December 10, 1980 at Hartsdale Crematorium in New York City. Yes, it is true that John did not believe in cremation and did not want to be cremated after his death. I have read several quotes by John stating this fact. Yoko, however, feared that Lennon-obsessed fans would disturb and possibly dig up his burial site, thus the decision for cremation was made.
