Do you know what I think? I think that in one stereo mix, the song lasts 2:29 because it's the same length as the mono mix, except for one thing. There are two extra guitar riffs at the beginning from 0:00 to 0:04. Right, guys?

Do you mean the American version with the false start?
-
That's right.

And here it is...
Beatles - I'm Looking Through You (False Start) - From U.S. Version of Rubber Soul (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLFlwOHM0bg#)
-
Do you know what I think? It's a song recorded solely by Paul. ;D

I think it is interesting that you think that Bobber. Right?

Well, at least Ringo is credited on Hammond organ on the cover.
-
I like the version recorded on 24 October 1965 better...
The Beatles - I'm Looking Through You (Take 1) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IIvxT_Dow4#)

Me too. It was fun for a while to hear it start and not know what it was at first. :)

Do you hear a Hammond?

Right. I've been walking around with this theory around for some years. Although not completely convinced, I think it's interesting enough: http://www.dmbeatles.com/forums/index.php?topic=3355.0 (http://www.dmbeatles.com/forums/index.php?topic=3355.0)

So do I. With one -at least- nylon- guitar...
Xosé

Do you hear a Hammond?
Yes I do. Pay attention, the organ can be heard between the lead guitar parts after "I'm looking through you, you're not the same". Most people miss it because they think it's just the guitar, but it's actually a dialogue between guitar and organ.
-
Is the organ also on Take 1??
Xosé
-
I don't hear the organ on Take 1, Xosé.
-
3 guitars + percusión and..., bass??
Xosé
-
Yes, bass too.

Paul was practicing for his future McCartney album.
-
Yes, bass too.
So, if that was Take 1..., who played the 3 guitars?? ???
Xosé

Actually I think I hear an organ in that version as well.

Paul! ;D

Where?

Where?
As in the Rubber Soul version, after every "I'm looking through you, you're not the same". They're just two notes that are repeated over and over again, easy for Ringo to play. :)

OK A Hammond organ using the guitar stop. But maybe it was Paul playing organ in Take 1. ;)

Yeah, Take 1 is Paul solo. ;)
