I just finished reading "The Complete Beatles Chronicle by Mark Lewisohn and I highly recomend it for anyone interested in the day to day activities of The Beatles. It tells of everywhere they played, recorded, filmed and so forth from The Quarrymen days to 1970 when they broke up. It is a good book that's hard to put down and for anyone just starting to like The Beatles I recomend this book as a good way to start to get to know them. Well the next one I shall tackle is The Beatles Anthology.

theres so many of those, but i haven't seen this author in the book store

He is probablly one of the best and most recognized of authors of books on The Beatles he also wrote one called "Beatles Recording Sessions" and another one about their live shows and this book takes elements from both and combines them so at the beginning of a chapter he sums up what happened to them in that particular year and then after that he has all the performances, appearences, and recording sessions that happened that year. So all in all the book gives us a complete picture of what life was like as a member of The Beatles.

I wanted to buy "The Complete Beatles Chronicle" but it was like $20.00 and I have to buy holiday gifts... hopefully I'll get it for Christmas, I've been dropping some pretty broad hints.
