Yesterday The Beatles’s social media accounts announced the release for the DVD & Blue Ray has been delayed . This is what they said ‘Hello All - We had a technical and supply chain issue with our “The Beatles: Get Back” Blu-ray & DVD. We’re sorry for the delay. We look forward to sharing a new release date soon.’

I was hoping it was delayed so they’d rethink only including what’s already on streaming. I want an extended cut!

According to the UK official shop on The Beatles website The Beatles: Get Back 3-Disc Blu-Ray Collector's Edition will be released in the UK on 27th May. I imagine the DVD will be the same.

Looks like a handful of DVDs made it onto shelves back in February. Wish I'd come across one:

The way I’d heard it was that this release was cancelled. But that doesn’t mean they won’t release something further down the track. I’m choosing to interpret it as meaning we’ll get a release later but maybe with more stuff on it. I’m the eternal optimist.

Oh, I was interpreting that as canceled permanently. I guess I'm an eternal pessimist. ;) I just hope it's released before my 1-year subscription to Disney+ expires in a few months. I've been paring back my subscriptions, but I don't want to lose access to Get Back.
