Thanks for the update. It sounds like a pretty cool start. I'll have to get it one of these years.

No, its Erskine4. They have some cool stuff like a 2 DVD set called "Beatles By the Bushel" with 67 promos, and one of Macca with all his promos. I hate to ask, but how did you end up buying this for so much $$? Your BeatleChas is selling the "Director's Cut" set for $46.00 US.

Because I am SO rich I don't have to worry about what I spend. NOT!!!!!! LOL ;D

I dunno really, when I checked there were only a few people selling it and he looked the most reputable of the bunch. It was an auction rather than a 'Buy Now" and I actually got it a lot cheaper than what the other sets went for PLUS he checked in a copy of Paul's Superbowl show, which I hadn't seen! So I'm pleased.

This is sad to say, but I bought this last year and I still have not sat down and watched it. Alan is there any one paticuliar part I should watch first?

I think the vast differences are probably in the earlier episodes but there are so many anyway! Check out 1966/7 where George describes his first experiences with LSD - it's hilarious, and obvious why it was cut out of the regular release!!

Does Paul say on one of them that he imitates John for Free as a Bird or did I see that somewhere else? I want to watch it again, but I can't remember where it was that I saw it! Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool. The fact that he could mimic John's voice. Probably why a lot of people think it's John doing the Ahhhs on ADITL.

As far as I know it's not a download but just some info  :-/ ... if it was so, be sure, BlueMeanie, that I would have said it and explained how (or given the link)  :) ...

Hopefully this means another release of the Anthology Director's Cut and more realistic prices.  One's going on eBay now for US $238.84

Sounds like this is the same version I have except maybe a more deluxe version of it. This is really only for die-hard hardcore fans as most of this is in the regular DVD release - the main differences have been highlighted in previous posts on this thread.
