Since I just had become a Beatles fan a couple years ago,I've only really listened to John and George's solo work.I was thinking about trying out some of Paul's solo work soon.So the ones I chose were for John:Imagine,John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band and Double Fantasy. For George I chose:Dark Horse and Extra Texture (Read All About It).I have to say that I really like George's solo work a little bit more then I like John's.I really love George's voice and overall I just really prefer his songs and even though I haven't really heard anything from Paul and Ringo's solo work I'm sure they're not as good as George's.That's just my opinion.

I'm sorry but to narrow this down to just five albums is absolutely impossible. And that's just taking the 70s into account... the poll actually runs from 1970 - 1980 and so includes the first year of the 80s aswell - sorry, too much great stuff, can't be done.

Oh this is so hard (It's So Hard).

Ram
Ringo
Plastic Ono Band
Walls And Bridges
Living In The Material World

Ram is hands down better than Band On The Run. Mono Ram is better than Stereo Ram.
