Title: pc's barn club
Post by: pc31 on April 24, 2007, 05:00:28 PM
as some of you may know i am restoring a 1963 ford falcon station wagon....i put it in my barn....the barn has a concrete floor, electric power and a water supply....so i crank on the tunes and work on the car maybe drink a few brews and smoke a few doobies...it is a cool way to hang out...sometimes i con a buddy into helping...
i got leaf springs for it yesterday...i am going to clean and paint the rear axel,re-do the brake hardware ,repaint the rims and paint the leaf springs among other things...it's a decent hobby and it probally reduces my stress levels....i hooked up major lighting so it is well lit.....do you guys or girls got a hot rod hang out??????
if not come by and we'll plug in some old carl perkins, gene vincent, eddie cochran, buddy holly, richie valens, jerry lee lewis, stray cats and more but probally not elvis on the juke box and we'll get buzz and work on the car.... ;)

I do the same thing, but only with dirt bikes. Nothing like drinking some brews and bench racing with buddies.

i just mailed a money order out to california for a gas tank...seems they don't reproduce them for the wagon....but things are moving slow still...it could be the beer or the pot....or the heat...or all 3...

Many months without a toke now - but lord I miss it. On the upside I'm reading books again, my house is a lot cleaner and my sleep patterns are getting better. I'm going to have a one off week long monster session when the girlfriend goes away though. Don't want to turn into a complete knobhead.

That, I'm afraid, is the reason for my downfall. I can do it no other way.

Yes. They're called (literally translated) cd-changers over here.

i just went out to my 62 falcon and found that this windstorm we are having since yesterday blew my front windsheild out onto the ground and broke it.......sh*t!!new ones are costly but i should not have just laid it in place without securing it.......damn it......

^^^^^I hate to hear that, Marshall.  I've got to replace the windshield in my 2004 Honda.  I've got a 10 inches crack on the drivers side that some big truck threw a rock on it.  Damn!!!  Sounded like a shotgun going off.
