More material like Anthology in future?
« on: February 20, 2011, 05:41:39 PM »

OK, we have The Red & Blue Album, Past Masters, "1", Love,
Remasters (mono & stereo)...which are all best of albums... (Love is kind
of exception...)

Now... I would like to see (to hear) more unreleased material to be released in
the future... Like the Anthology... There are tons of that stuff...

Wouldn't you?

Yes, there's probably about a single CD's worth of stuff from the 6 CD's that are actually worth anything, even then I thought they left out a few things that should have been on there.

I seriously doubt they will ever release any more outtakes, etc. I think we might see something like "Live At The Hollywood Bowl"...someday. Paul has stated that he would like to release 'Carnival Of Light'. I think until Paul and Ringo are no more, there will not be anymore significant releases.

The only hope of anything that I think could happen would be a special release through iTunes. I wouldn't doubt if some special arrangement was made with Apple (the computer company).

Hollywood Bowl would be nice, so would the Christmas comp From Then To You. I'd even like to see Capitol Albums Vol. 3 with The Beatles Story.
And then there's Let It Be. There should be a lot of things that are worth releasing on DVD and audio.

On Anthology there's some great performance footage from France, Australia,Japan, etc. How about more of that? I know a lot are on boots but it would be nice to see all cleaned up.

I don't even care too much about the actual Anthologies, so I wouldn't care about more material like that.

I don't listen to the Anthologies very much, but when I do I wonder why I don't more often.
