Who was John's best friend in The Beatles?
« on: March 03, 2009, 08:43:02 PM »

I say Ringo because according to John Ringo never said a bad thing to Yoko when they went to the studios together. They spent alot of time together in the later years even had a firework display for Julian & Zack.

Ringo even did this comercial with John to promote Walls & Bridges

I dont really think John saw any of the others as favourite/least favourite. He always talks of them as brothers rather than friends and i think they all offered him something different. George was closer to him on a spiritual level and perhaps artistically as well, while he saw Paul as his only equal creatively in the Beatles(or the world) while Ringo was the best man to party with.

But he always said that after the Beatles Yoko replaced them as his partner/muse, but i dont think he truly had a preference between his former bandmates.
