ive recently started to enjoy the medley on abbey road which i havent got into before ive always felt lennons songs let the medley down, not that im saying that the songs were bad because i actually love the songs but they dont fit they way mccartney has taken the time to piece his together, i was wondering anyone else thought maybe his songs should have been worked on and made into songs on the album and not part of the medley, obviously one or two of the songs would have to be cut as to the legnth, leaving the mccartney pieces to fit together in nearly everyone of his songs he uses the same chord progression which is why it works so well, especially when it gos from carry that weight back into an instrumental of you never give me youre money its absolutely genius
