Maybe everyone has already seen this but it’s new to me:

The Usenet Guide to Beatles Recording Variations
http://www.columbia.edu/~brennan/beatles/index.html (http://www.columbia.edu/~brennan/beatles/index.html)

I’ve only looked at this section:

Songs the Beatles didn't do: meaning, songs they wrote while the Beatles existed, but which did not appear on official EMI Beatles records. This list is limited to songs that might be considered finished, which we'll define as one of: published; recorded by someone else; registered for copyright; or attempted at EMI for release.
http://www.columbia.edu/~brennan/beatles/songs-beatles-didnt-do.html (http://www.columbia.edu/~brennan/beatles/songs-beatles-didnt-do.html)

I thought I’d seen this before but there are some I’d never heard of. While looking for them on YouTube was reminded of one of my biggest Beatles-related pet peeves; people who post fake Beatles videos. Not tribute bands identified as such but ones that are purported to be tapes that were thought not to exist. It’s insulting, especially to those who are just starting to delve into things.

You're very welcome Kathy! I just knew there must be someone else who hadn't seen it yet.  :)
