^I love that Ringo bit too, when she askes how he likes his girlfriends to dress.  ;D He has the cutest laugh.

I love Paul's "ZAP! SHAZAM!" He's so cute.
When George gets his picture taken during the interviews.
George in the clothes place, "Grotty" is a word I frequently use now.  ha2ha
George shaving the mirror. The look of concentration on his face is simply adorable.
The 'Can't Buy Me Love' scene was classic.
And of course Ringo out parading.  ;D

The whole movie was great, and it's definitely one of my favorites - ever.

I look from the wings of the play you are staging. As I'm sitting here, doing nothing but aging. While my guitar gently weeps.

My favorite is when they are all of a sudden running on the side of the train shouting "Mister! Mister! Can we have our ball back?" and of course the Can't Buy Me Love escape scene.

Obviously I need to watch the movie again because I don't remember that part!  :-[ Then again my brother and I have been on some weird non-stop Help! marathon for the last few days so AHDN has sort of been glossed over...

Nevertheless, I think my favorite part will always be the bathroom scene. John's German gibberish always has me falling on the floor, not to mention George's "safety razor."

Oh, and the "I now declare this bridge open," which was just unexpected enough to put me in stitches.

That movie is kind of John's movie, if you think about it.  :P

Ringo: Hey, leave them drums alone

Headphone Guy: Oh surely I could just have a little touch

Ringo: Oh there you could, hiding behind a smokescreen of boys who are cliches, I don't go messin' around with your earphones do I?

Headphone Guy: Spoil sport

Ringo: Well?

George: He's very touchy about his drums, they loom large in his legend

Oh my god, I LOVE that scene. And the fact that John proceeds to sing a love song to Ringo? And Ringo's sad little face? Oh jeez.  ha2ha

Got to love John's mucking about in general throughout this movie.

The scene introducing Paul's ~very clean~ grandfather is brilliant.

And Ringo getting riled up by the grandfather and going out on his own.

Not to sound snarky, but it's "bourgeois" clichés. :)

Also, just about every freaking scene in that movie is hilarious. I mostly like  all of Ringo's lines/scenes. :) But all the boys had such great lines/actions (like John writing "tits" on that pad of paper). That whole interview scene was brilliant.

Like someone else said, I just get a laugh every time I see Geroge fall and Ringo fall on top of him and John laughing his head off at them. They recovered quickly, though.
Edit: I also, for some reason, love when George is eating on the train. It's just so silly. Every once in a while he takes a bite and it's just "CRUNCH!"

lol ~ I actually love that too. There's something sassy about the way he's chomping on his sandwich (or "butty" or whatever those Scousers say). George is brilliant throughout the whole film... he completely cracks me up.

It's corny, but I love the scene when they run to the police station and the chase ensues. I know it's straight-up Keystone Cops, but I love it when they run back into the station to catch their breath and the sergeant asks John, "You all right now?" and John nods and then they all run out again. Pure surreal slapstick cuteness!

Haha totally. People think I'm crazy when I say it, but I really think they were all great actors. They just really seemed to know how to deliver a line! They didn't take it overboard or try to jazz it up. Even when they do it kind of dorky (I'm thinking when Ringo is making fun of Paul and says "Well ... if he's your grandfather, who knows?" and gives the DORKIEST fake laugh but I just think it works. :))

Top favorite part:When they're in the train and Paul's grandfathers sitting in the middle of John and Paul, here's the conversation:
John:Hello grandfather
Grandfather:Hello
John:So he can talk then, can he?
Paul:Of course he can talk he's a human being isn't he?
I absolutely love Paul's reply lol.
My second favorite part is when John and Paul are walking into the room in the train where Paul's grandfather and the women is and when Grandfather says "Congratulate me boys.I'm engaged!" then Paul says "Oh no you're not,not this time".
My final favorite is when John's in the tub lol.

The Sound in german is much funnier

John:Hallo Grossvater
Großvater:Hallo
John:Der kann ja reden, der ist ja echt
Paul : Na klar kann der reden, der kann sogar Mamma sagen
Ringo: Nun sag bloss das er singen kann ,dann schrei ich aber laut.

And I Love Her...

BTW: 'And I Love Her' scene was filmed at Scala Theatre..., correct?? If I'm not wrong, it was some day between 23 and 30 March 1964, but..., is the exact date known??

Thanks in advance and best wishes!! ;)
