hi, who plays guitar here?i do and hav been playing for about 4/5 years, and im getting pretty good!!!i dont realy stuff like beatles though, but my prime influnnces on my playing are jimi hendrix, and eric clapton, steve vai, ect. i also have a band which play gigs at and around the school.

(by the way, i think this new musicians corner is really great!) ;)

i've been playing for many years...i play some beatles (of course), zeppelin, cream, who ...and many more classic rock music, but my greatest influence would probably be Van Halen..I play a gibson & a strat and recently a replica I made of EVH's striped frankenstrat...

I play mostly folk. Some Beatles. But yeah, mostly folk. When I get an electric guitar, though, I'll probably start playing more genres.

Went to a Buskers Night last night..
I was just gonna watch, but my old bass teacher called me a f*cking girl private..for not playing..so I found myself knocking out Hey Joe :) Some more experience, plus I got to play his special Black P Bass

I play guitar, both acoustic and electric.  

Years ago, before it achieved legendary status, I bought a 1963 Gretsch Country Gentleman.  It remains my favorite of my small collection.

kinda play acoustic, dont really like it though, its an old guitar at least 30 years old and the strings are a pain in the ass to keep down. i will be getting an electric guitar in a deal im making with a friend of mine. ive played it before and enjoy that one much better in playing chords. ive mostly taught myself though, so of course i blow monkey testicles on guitar

I play guitar for 12 years now. I suck at solos because I never really bothered to learn how to play solos. But I'd say I'm a pretty damn good rhyhtm guitarist...

Solos are only part of -only- some songs ... some seconds ... sometimes a minute ...  and most of the times is the less re-member-Ed part ... if you think about a song by its title then the melody and feeling comes to your mind but that's quite difficult with the solo ... I'm with you here BiscuitPower  :)

I've been playing guitar since I was a young teen-- who can remember? 1970 or so. I took baritone ukelele lessons when I was 9, and I took up my older sister's guitar when she proved uninterested. I made a serious stab at playing lead when I was in my teens, but my fingers just refused to cooperate. I have since retired to strumming and finger picking, which I enjoy. I wrote probably 30 songs, most of them in my teens. I have no aspirations to do anything professional with my playing; I just like it!

Day after seeing first concert. Started palying an old Teisco guitar ,4 years later, bought a Gibson LesPaul Standard. 8)

Another Rythym Guitarist!!!!!! 8) I'd rather be cranking out the great rythyms, myself. :)
