I just seen a new ad on the tv for Buick, and they are using "paperback Writer" for it ::).

I think it's a shame that he got the songs but it DOES make me happy to see these wonderful songs used publicly.

I think we need to get over it.  After all, Paul has bought the rights to the Buddy Holly songs, and I hear "Rave On" being used for a few commercials. In fact, he has bought the rights to over 3000 songs from different artists, and don't tell me he isn't making money from it.

The fact is when they could, Paul and John didn't try hard enough to buy back the catalogue.  Yes, it should never have sold out from under them, but they had their chance.  Lets just deal and move on.
