Thanks! But hey! I love my VCR...and if there ois more content on the videos then I'd rather buy those.  But if the stuff is the same, and there is a bonus disc you say? Hmmm, not much choice then! Thanks again

The stuff on the bonus disc is pretty much all new - including a jam session with Paul, George and Ringo! The other discs are the same content as the video release, but have re-mastered sound.

The Jam Session is amazing, where the camera comes from outside..sounds like they are playing Raunchy or something..but its getting back to the roots.. sounds great.

DVD's are way better! If I had it on video, it would probably be not workin no more, for I watch the Anthology all the time!!

And also if you just wanna watch something particular(for instance, I like to watch the Something and A day in the life clips a lot)
then on DVD you just press the button, but on video you have to forward, forward, forward and forward 'till you get there!

The Anthology on dvd was my Christmas present this year and I love it. It's got so much stuff on it and of course the dvd sound and picture quality is fantastic. I've watched it all the way through twice and I'm 3/5ths of the way through my third viewing. It's awesome.

This is a bit late but I just want to thank everyone for trying to get him to buy these on DVD.  I've been sitting here stunned for a moment trying to figure out why anyone would still be into VHS tapes.

My only regret is that I did in fact buy the anthology on VHS when it first came out because there was no other option obviously.  I said to myself then that I should just wait and rent them from Scarecrow (a local rental place) and bide my time, but noooooo, I just had to have them.  When I saw how much cheaper the DVD's were compared to how much I paid for them on VHS I almost had a coniption fit.

buy the dvds. it's the only medium where you can hear a lot of Beatles songs on 5.1 hi-rez...right now my favorite would be the I Am The Walrus music video...i heard a lot of things from the video that i've never heard before on the MMT record

I also watched it from a friday night to a sunday. (well, kinda)
The special features were great, especially the Real Love video and the one where they were in Abbey Road. (BTW George played bass on Golden Slumbers)

Check this out! There's this section where the Beatles were talking about John's book "In His Own Write"..then they showed a picture of George and Paul reading the book.

Zoom in on the book cover, and don't blink!!
