you'll find it somewhere on the internet.
'Birth of the Beatles' is a v.interesting film because it is both very bad and very good.
bad because Nick Cotton from Eastenders is an unconvincing George Harrison, John Lennon looks ten years older than the others (maybe someone can tell me how old the actor was at the time) and Stu Sutcliffe isn't the slightest bit bohemian in the film.
however it's good because of a very good depiction of late 50's liverpool and i think it captures the spirit of the beatles and what they were possibly 'really' like. The John character is well done despite looking old, and Paul, Eppy, Ringo and Rory Storm all look quite convincing.
i think some of the accuracies were deliberate, such as mentioning lines from 'Getting Better' in 1959!!!!, 8 years before it was written, but as i said on an earlier thread, because it was a low-budget made-for-T.V film, there is slightly more realism than 'Backbeat' which was good but seemed to be a glamorous drama that happened to be based on the Beatles.
