I like this song, but its failry mediocre. Its inoffensive enough that I enjoy it when I hear it, but again, I feel its only an average song.

For once I'm agreeing with Todd.

For once I'm agreeing with Todd.

It's not in my top 20 or even 30 Beatles tunes. I find it's a soothing song that shows how the Beatles could make even simple tunes with enough musical content to keep it interesting. I think the middle 8 in this one makes the song.

The Beatles always seemed to have so much going on in their songs. Whether it was harmonies, instrumentation, twists in the chord progression etc, that I think it elevated what could have been fillerish material  to something more. Overall I'd rate I'll Follow.. as well above filler although maybe not up to the "album gold" status.

Ive always really liked it

Its not one of the greatest songs ever written, but I always loved its mood, and its clever up/down melody

The way the boys do it also gives it a certain melancholy

I always loved The Beatles sad love songs and the way they recorded them;

I'll Be Back
Norwegian Wood
Here There & Everywhere
For No One

I love this song. It's deceptively simple.
