Exploring the Beatles influences outside rock 'n' roll

The Beatles had their rock 'n' roll influences -- Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly, to name a few, but the music that helped mold their sound also goes back a lot further. The music of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin and Duke Ellington had a role in their sound.
