At the beginning of Concert for George, when Ravi Shankar speaks about George he says that he use to call him by a nickname that sounded like 'George'.
My questions is, what was this name? I can't seem to find the footage on the Internet and my DVD player is down so I can't view my DVD.

I'll bump this up in my Netflix queue and let you know. :)

Thank you! ;)
Last time I watched it, I don't remember hearing it. My sister thinks I dreamt it, but I'm positive it is in there somewhere!

Did you ever get an answer? I am watching the concert right now and did not catch that. He said that George was like a son and refered to Dhani as his grandson but I guess that's not what you were thinking of, huh? Sorry I couldn't be of more help. ;sorry

Nope, I never got an answer.
I couldn't have imagnied it, I'm like 100% sure it is somewhere in there. I can hear him saying it sounded like "George"...but I think it was an Indian name.

Are you sure it was the Concert for George?

I googled this and couldn't find an answer. For a second I thought I found something but it was just your question from this forum. ;D Maybe you have a different version? I did watch both discs but there are a few different ones floating around.

My DVD comes with 2 versions, I'll just have to watch both once I get my DVD player fixed. If it isn't in there I don't know what I'm thinking of!

I think we have the same one then. Let me know when you figure it out!
