Are you referring to the little "yes" on the ceiling at Yoko's art exhibition in the Indica Gallery?

Nice one, TK.

John was really happy with Yoko though.....so if it meant no Beatles to us, it meant pure happiness for him.

Yeah, I mean its his life not ours.  He was happy with her, so our complaints don't really matter.

I may be the only Beatle fan in here who doesn't think Yoko is evil. Strange, yes. Acquired taste, absolutely. Bonkers somewhat, sure. Maybe she made some mistakes with Julian, which is not something I overlook nor something I know about personally so I kind of just have it there in my subconscious as a reason why Yoko's kind of 50/50 with me.

But I really, sincerely feel that Yoko and John had a beautiful love. I think they were two of the most inspiring and fascinating couples in history. I think, truthfully, people are intimidated by strong women so they have to refer to those who actually become more notorious as "not god" or "evil."

She didn't break up the Beatles, people. Come on! I certainly don't want to start anything, but I kind of think John had more to do with the actualy break-up than Ms. Ono. I also never thought he was p*$$y-whipped, if you catch my drift, by Yoko. I think he liked the idea of sharing a union with someone who he had an intellectual and idealistic connection with, and that they bounced stuff off each other. He seemed to always want to play fair and give her credit for things she influenced him with, and even Yoko said he would give her MORE credit sometimes because she was dogged so much it hurt him.

I really think John most certainly wore the pants in that relationship, Yoko could be manipulative, but she wasn't evil and she didn't break up his band.

That's just my opinion. I actually never even think about it because I've come around to liking Yoko very much as of late. She seems like a really cool lady. :)

I agree. I've never disliked yoko or thought she broke up the Beatles. I think john would have left the group sooner or later anyway. I'm sure she had some influence on him, such as bag-ins and some of the other strange things they did, but i don't believe she was out to break up the group or make him leave them.

I think that although a lot of people hated her, John was right, forget them because he loved her and he was happy with her and that's all that mattered. If it wouldn't have said yes, who knows what the world would be like now.
