I just thought this was interesting. His bass playing is so underrated. This kind of puts it into perspective.

Nice one MaccaLvr! Great find. I have read the first 1/4 will read the rest later. Really interesting. Great article for all bass players.

Do you prefer Macca's Hofner or Rickenbacher on Beatle recordings??????

I Love the hofner, but the Rickenbacker lines are just..amazing.
Rain, And Your Bird can Sing, Yer Blues, Lucy in the Sky, Baby your a rich man.etc just love em!

I'll have to say the Ric for me. The Hoffner just didnt cut as well imo.
