I would have to agree, Kev.  1965 is my favorite year for live Beatles performances and Blackpool Night Out featured fine examples of how The Beatles progressed at that point in time.

I would have liked to have seen a George Harrison song in there though.  I Need You would have been a good choice.

It was the second song George Harrison wrote while with The Beatles, Kev.  In that song George expressed deep and mature feelings not usually evident in people of that vintage. 

He was only 21 years old when he wrote I Need You...

Yes, I Need You is simple in chords and instrumentation.  One definitely needs a Rickenbacker 360/12 with the amp's vibrato set perfectly to achieve the full effect...

I Need You is brilliant in its simplicity.

I wish The Beatles had performed this song that night so we could have a live performance of one of my favorite Beatles songs.
