That's 'Mister' to you :)

I'm well aware of Best & Best, having once gone to see a 'Silver Sixties' show or suchlike. The fact that Pete Best has to play '2nd drums' in his own band says a lot, really.

The Merseybeats and the Swinging Blue Jeans were absolutely on fire that night, though. Especially the latter!

so all that means is that petey isn't an accomplished drummer...i knew you was a sir but you cheap shoted petey...so i was evening him up.... ;D i know pete ain't the best but he ain't the worst either...i don't think a drum can get to technical unless your alex lifeson or anyone else with too man things to pound on...you don't really need all that sh*t to pound a good beat.....i always loved slim jim phantons style...he stands up and has a small set up....of course i tend to see the drummer in a different light since ringo and his stint..the drummer seems to work out better with the smallest ego...and he needs to be older it seems or the band chugs along....cliff burton did good in his stint with slayer as did geddy with rush oh strike that they were bass players...but cliff was like a big brother not another ego you get me...but primarily if the drummer runs sh*t it's a wash out, dave clark 5 ran pretty well but they won't be remember as well as other in the future...and i don't wanna hear about phil.....i was trying to state my preference to a drumming style and say it ain't peteys fault he don't have the passion or ability...it's pauls.... ;D what drum style impresses you lot??
