Definitely not Paint It Black. A little too dark of a song for it to be a Beatles track, IMO.

The only Stones song I like is Paint It Black, and I agree that it wouldn't have made a good Beatles song.
So the Beatles covering a Stones song sounds like a bad idea to me so I'm glad they never did.
Oh, on a side note: one time when I heard Paint It Black on the radio, the DJ said that the lyrics were really about having sex with a girl that's having her period... Anyone know if that's true?
-
On second thought: Paint It Black sung by John, maybe that wouldn't even have been that bad...

I thought all the Stone's songs were about sex. ;D

No.
Satisfaction mentions not being able to have sex due to a period ("losing streak"). Paint It Black is just about angst of all sorts, including sex.

The 1967 "Between The Buttons" album has a very Beatlish feel to it.

I'm not familiar with all the tracks, but Ruby Tuesday is VERY Beatley. Let's Spend The Night is PURE Stones though!

3. Ruby Tuesday
4. Connection
5. She Smiled Sweetly
6. Cool Calm And Collected
7. All Sold Out
8. My Obsession
9. Who's Been Sleeping Here
10. Complicated
11. Miss Amanda Jones
12. Something Happened To Me Yesterday

"Ruby Tuesday" was written by Keith Richards and Brian Jones, yet the song got credited to Jagger/Richards only.

Really? I never knew that. I wonder why they never corrected the error.
-
I always thought Ruby Tuesday was a Beatles song until...I dunno when. It is very Beatle-y...
