How's it going nimrod? I hope all is well with you. I am a HUGE LED ZEPPELIN and ROBERT PLANT fan! I posted a comment on the LED ZEPPELIN thread that I saw LED ZEPPELIN live twice. I saw PAGE/PLANT live 4 times and JIMMY PAGE & THE BLACK CROWES twice. As for ROBERT PLANT, I saw him live for the first time last year on 26 July 2010 at Stubbs BBQ in Austin, Texas. I was in the front row and was even able to see the lines in Robert's face! Robert smiled and waved at me, I couldn't believe it! My Girlfriend took great pictures of Robert while he was performing live on stage. She also took great pictures of the opening act whose name was BETTYE LAVETTE. That woman can put on a show! LAVETTE performed the songs "The Word," "Isn't It A Pity" and "Maybe I'm Amazed" as well as other great songs from other legendary bands. My Girlfriend posted all of the pictures on LedZeppelin.com. Take care.

Plant's most recent album, Band of Joy, is the best solo work he's done. I enjoy this one as much as his best Zeppelin work.

A few years ago I thought Robert was washed up -- he was on one of the late night talk shows (maybe Jimmy Kimmel, or Conan), he was singing something, and I'm thinking, it's over Robert. Then he did that great duet album with Alison Krause and now Band of Joy -- I understand why he turned down the Zeppelin reunion tour.

How's it going Mr. Mustard? I hope all is well with you and your family. Robert's far from being washed up. His vocal ranges with the music of the BAND OF JOY and ALISON KRAUSS are perfect! Robert makes no big secret that he cannot sing those ZEPPELIN songs the way he used to and that may be one of the biggest reasons why he is not in favor of a ZEPPELIN reunion tour. In my opinion, Robert cannot hit the high vocal ranges like he did during the ZEPPELIN years with the exception of the song "Kashmir," but Robert can still deliver when it counts. LED ZEPPELIN'S complete performance at the 02 Arena on 10 December 2007 will finally be released in December 2011 as part of the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert Boxed Set. I have three bootlegs of the 10 December 2007 show on DVD and I will be the first to say that ZEPPELIN'S performance (Mistakes and all) on 10 December 2007 was magnificent! Take care.

How's it going ROBERT PLANT and LED ZEPPELIN fans! I saw ROBERT PLANT on Monday, 26 July 2010 at Stubbs BBQ in Austin, Texas. It was a great show, my girlfriend, her sister and I were right up front where we could see Robert up close and personal. There are many videos from the Austin 26 July 2010 show on Youtube. Here is one song from that show. I will be posting more on this thread from time to time.

P.S. The woman with the loud screaming that you hear in the video is my girlfriend's sister. She screamed like that throughout the whole concert. Take care.

Hi BEACH BOYS and ZEPPELIN fans! How's everyone's F-R-I-D-A-Y going so far? Mine's going great, I took the rest of the day off and relaxed. Here's some news for all of the ROBERT PLANT and LED ZEPPELIN fans around the world. There has been rumors flying all over Texas, especially the Austin area, that ROBERT PLANT has married his BAND OF JOY bandmate PATTY GRIFFIN and are thinking of living in the Austin area. Here are some of the reports as follows:

 http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=165571

 http://www.briangardiner.ca/rambleon/?p=1534

If this is true, I am happy for both Robert and Patty and wish them both the very best. Take care.
