Hi there. My dad has just asked my to look up about a Beatles album he has had since he was young (The Beatles 1967-1970).
Im not a massive fan of them But my dad has always loved them. Now from what i can find on the internet the 1967-1970 album was blue along with blue record sleeves (The later release on blue vinal, which this isnt) and the record before was red with read record sleeves. The copy that my dad seems to have has 1 red sleve for the first vinal and a blue one for the second. At first we thaught it might have been swapped from the 1962-1966 red album, but all of the lyrics and track listings are from the 1967-1970 blue album.
Has any one heard of this?
Are they rare?
Is it a limited thing?
Any help would be amazing as we are both totaly stumped
Thanks
Eric

I'll have to check mine, I believe that both of mine are red...

I have two copies, the actual blue albums and the normal ones. I'd have to check, but I swear I think the sleeves are blue also. Might be wrong.
My 62'-66' album is Apple and has white sleeves with nothing on them.

i ain't shore watt use is action....in other words i don't understand what you are asking.....the red had red liners with the word on them and the blue had the blue liners with the words...like above...it would be hard to accidently not put it back in the same sleeve...........unless you dad was one of the dreaded album stackers!!!!!!and knew someone who always had to read the inner sleeves...because lets face it the sleeves had more info and extra pictures.....and during listening to severval albums after a hang out session, you may have more than a few albums stacked on the old fisher or pioneer, whateven they had,and you would rush to put them up and sleeve the wrong album.....what you are saying tho the red paper has the blue words???????????it is rare....

Ha ha excelent. We live in the uk and yes it is on apple records. I was thinking about emailing apple records and asking them but cannot find any contact details.
Oh just so you know both of the records have the blue print in the middle bit of the record its only the sleve that seems to be different.
The only numbers that i can find is PCS 7181 on the first vinal and sleeve, and PCS 7182 on the vinal and blue sleeve

I could use some help on this same subject.
Just bought the beatles 1962-1966 record. It's not the red vinyl.
Everything on the record is red , except the labels on the records.
They are blue.
Is this a miss print?
I have the beatles 67-70, not blue vinyl, and everything is matching blue.
