Anyone given this a listen? I think it's really good I just wished they included Surfing USA & I Get Around.

I got this album when it came out, but I'm still not entirely sure what to think of it. A few of the new versions are really nice (I especially like what they did tot Fun Fun Fun, Disney Girls and God Only Knows), but overall, this project should've been more creative. Mostly it's either just the original backing track left intact with some added strings and horns mixed in somewhere in the background, or the orchestra copying the original backing track. This would've been way more interesting if they would've started with just the a capella mixes and let the orchestra built entirely new arrangements around those.
